CHANDIGARH-The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Banwarilal Purohit, while extending greetings on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti, called upon the people to work together and contribute in strengthening the fabric of social harmony, equality and brotherhood, as preached and practiced by the great saint.
In a message, the Governor said that saint Kabir’s divine vision of equality, brotherhood and social reforms has been guiding humanity on the virtuous path. His life and teachings would continue to inspire the society for all times to come. His Vani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib kindles the conscious of human beings with special emphasis on purity of mind and exhorts the masses to lead a peaceful and purposeful life.
